Bi-color Tourmaline

Bi-color Tourmaline, 1.11 ct.

One of the most unusual tourmalines we’ve ever come across – even considering bi-color tourmalines in general, this is a pretty quirky combination of hues in a single stone.

It was recut from a 1.90 ct. badly windowed oval into a gorgeous and sharp barion. Sadly, it lost most of its prominent orange hue component in the process, but the end result was still worth it.
