Bright teal spinels can be exceedingly rare, particularly considering most of them suffer from blackish or brownish undertones or the usual spinel dimness. This stone is nothing like that: its hue is clean and clear, more like a teal sapphire than a spinel.
While its color already puts it head and shoulders above the rest, we also had it recut from a badly mangled oval into a nice barion to maximize its brilliance.
It shifts from greenish teal to greenish blue as light varies, as spinels of this hue often do.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
