An absolutely exceptional pink spinel from Sri Lanka.
The stone looks so pure and so devoid of any brown or black under or overtones that we've had countless gem dealers express disbelief that it's a spinel at all when we showed it as a color sample in the past. The most common remark was "padparadscha" - and while we don't agree with the sentiment color-wise, it does look way, way better than light pink spinels usually do.
It’s incredibly bright and easy on the eyes, and it retains its soft pink glow consistently regardless of what environment it's viewed in.
The images unfortunately wrongly show a slight brownish tint, possibly because of the surroundings they were taken in - but the stone has absolutely no brown or black at all when viewed in person regardless of what sort of light it's viewed in.
In reality, it looks exactly like the third image but without even that bit of brown that got incorrectly translated into the extinction in that hand shot.
It’s a remarkable stone that could easily stand toe to toe with the best examples from Tanzania, Tajikistan and Burma in this tone/saturation grade.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
