The stone changes colors quite a lot: it’s near-colorless with just a tinge of lavender in diffused daylight when fully lit, soft lavender or grey-periwinkle indoors during daytime, lavender-blue in fluorescent and lavender-mauve in incandescent light.
The light return on it is exceptionally good and it appears almost fully lit in all lights. On top of that, it also has fire and a crisp, clear, crystalline quality to its brilliance that’s quite rarely seen in spinels otherwise.
Zero black, zero brown, no undesirable undertones at all. The first two studio images come the closest overall to portraying it in diffused daylight outdoors, but it does gain more of a consistent light lavender overtone indoors.
