The stone comes from Ilakaka in Madagascar, and like many Madagascan stones has a number of microscopic crystal inclusions but is eye clean close up since the crystals are simply too small for the unaided eye to see.
We had it recut to fix its light return as it was too elongated to light up well pre-recut.
