By far the biggest difference between this stone and the vast majority of teal sapphires coming out of Madagascar is how clean this stone’s brilliance looks. It doesn’t have any of the usual dim, subdued, muted look that these sapphires so commonly possess, so it looks really sharp in comparison to others of its type.
The criss-crossed greenish blue and light cyan pattern appears very pleasant in person, as the colors blend and work together seamlessly.
It was selected out of a lot of 30-odd teal sapphires – all of them inferior to this one in brightness and brilliance – and then recut to fix the window that it had.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
