We had it recut from 1.50 carats in order to remove the unsightly window that it had, and as an added plus the new hybrid cut on the pavilion helped further increase its already good brilliance.
It’s very spready for its weight, and since it falls into the standard 6.50 mm setting size category it should be very easy to set too.
The hue is richly saturated and neither too dark nor too light, meaning it will look good in all sorts of lighting scenarios indoors and outdoors. The lighter blue flashes are remnants of clearer zoning that it had prior to being recut, but post-recut that got minimized to mostly just points of brilliance and randomized sparkle.
