A pair of pink sapphires in the ever-popular Asscher cut.
They were cut after splitting a single piece of rough in half, since the crystal was too flat to cut a single 1 carat stone without a window so it seemed like a good opportunity to make a nice pair instead.
Sapphires are famous for their color zoning, and this is an excellent example of just how far that can go – despite these two having come from the same elongated piece of rough, one of them is more purplish while the other is more pinkish. It’s not a pronounced difference by any means though, so they still do very much look like a well-matched pair.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
