A bright and well saturated sapphire.
This color would be called “cornflower blue” by the trade if it had a bit of silk - it’s the same type of medium toned vividly saturated bright blue, but the lack of silk makes it sparkle more than glow so it’s rightly called “vivid blue” instead.
We unfortunately couldn't recut this one due to it being too spready to get the critical angle to close the window (without the stone losing a carat).
