It’s extremely rare to come across a pair of vivid, high quality blue sapphires that are this well matched in color, cut and clarity.
The stones are very brilliant, of excellent color, and completely eye clean close up.
We recut them from 2.71 carats total because they both had windows, a bad facet arrangement and polish so coarse they looked cloudy. They were also too spready, so by reducing their length and width from the girdle we gained a sufficient relative depth percentage to have them cut without windows.
Excellent stones for a pair of blue sapphires overall, not much else to say.
