Top quality sapphires are very rare as single stones and even rarer as matched pairs – so bringing together two top tier examples from not one but two desirable, popular categories really is a task.
Yet here they are: an unheated, high quality, well cut vivid blue and a standard heated, high quality, well cut hot pink that match.
Like all of our stones, these also required recutting to make them look proper and match them better: the pink was recut from 1.42 to balance its symmetry and the blue was recut from 1.35 for the same reason, as well as to improve its light return.
Both are eye clean on close up inspection, very well cut, vivid and free of undesirable undertones or modifiers. This already puts them head and shoulders above the vast majority of the rest as single stones - but considering they're well matched as a pair in addition, they're truly exceptional.
