Its color falls between the medium tones of a vivid blue and the medium-dark tones of the lighter end of the royal blue scale, so it could also technically be called a light royal blue (especially as it's slightly deeper in tone than most of our vivid blues).
As a tonal cross between those two categories, it always looks vivid and visually appealing and adding to its rarity is the fact that it's also completely eye clean close up and very well cut - which is never a given with vivid blue rounds.
