A rare teal spinel that owes its color to traces of cobalt.
The stone has an intense, beautiful and bright color in diffused daylight outdoors. It’s really unusually well saturated for a teal spinel and its excellent cut and clarity only serve to further accentuate its crisp, crystalline, gemmy daylight look.
In fluorescent light or in low light environments, it shifts to greyish blue.
Recut from 3.88 ct. to fix its small window and improve its light return.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
