The stone behaves exactly how one would expect a good quality vanadium chrysoberyl to: it’s pleasant in full daylight outdoors, and perpetually lit in a soft aqua-teal glow indoors, even in low light.
It contains some chromium and shows red flashes under incandescent, so it was a minor miracle we were able to buy it as a vanadium chrysoberyl at all, since stones with 30% as much change routinely sell as alexandrite in Sri Lanka (at exorbitant prices).
Not much to say otherwise, vanadium chrysoberyl requires little introduction. Durable, beautiful and beyond rare in high quality.
