A beautiful vanadium-bearing chrysoberyl from Madagascar.
Like all chrysoberyls, it shifts to a small degree depending on the temperature of the surrounding light. We’ve captured these changes in the images but its default diffused daylight state, as well as its graded color, is bluish green. At times, it can turn bluish enough to appear almost fluorite-like.
Most vanadium chrysoberyls are cut with only weight in mind so it's worth mentioning that rounds - which don't spare material - are really rare and difficult to find in this variety; and well cut rounds without windowing even more so.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
