Amazingly enough, the rough this stone came from weighed 7.93 carats – but by the time all the inclusions were ground away and the preform was done, only a fraction of that remained.
The cut design also didn’t spare weight at all, since it was made with sharp pavilion angles and without much regard for weight retention in mind.
The final result ended up looking incredibly pleasant though: an uncommon color, loupe clean clarity and lots of cold, crystalline brilliance.
Its color would best be described as ivory: it's creamy off-white and as far as chrysoberyls go neither entirely colorless nor chartreuse, but still closer to the former than the latter.

The only website where all gems get diligently color-matched and edited for accuracy until they reflect what the eye sees in diffused daylight outdoors.
Accurately represented in practical terms rather than abstract grading systems. When we say "eye clean", we really mean it as close up as the eyes can focus.
No commercial cuts here - all of our stones are recut to a high standard for added value, rarity and beauty.
