The most remarkable thing about the stone is the fact that it lights up unusually well – in person, the light return looks close to 100% and this persists in all lighting scenarios, including fluorescent and incandescent indoors. The areas of extinction are very small and spread out so despite the excellent brightness, they still manage to break up the brilliance pattern and give it an impression of liveliness and sparkle.
