Similarly to how a small amount of silk produces a slight glow in vividly saturated medium-toned sapphires, the ‘treacle effect’ of this hessonite exists in just the right amount to heighten its apparent brightness and saturation without impacting its clarity grade or brilliance.
The stone is completely eye clean close up in any viewing environment, but its saturation and brightness still seem to gain from the treacle.
It persistently looks well saturated in all kinds/intensities of daylight.
